Richard Briant
Richard is a chartered accountant with BDO in Gisborne. He was made Associate in 2011 and has specialised in farm accounting with a varied client base.
Richard was born and raised in Gisborne and continues to be involved in the family farming business.
More recently Richard has become involved with the Marjorie Redstone Trust and other charities in the district. His interest in The Sunrise Foundation has come from his work with these organisations.
Richard believes that Sunrise offer Gisborne people the opportunity to provide long term support to local charities that they are passionate about.
