Pio's coming to town

Well-loved entertainer Pio Terei is in town early next week to share his heart, stories and practical parenting ideas about family life.

Mr Terei will be presenting about Building Awesome Whanau on Monday at the Tauawhi Men’s Centre at 73 Peel St. Doors open at 5.30 and the presentation starts at 6pm.

On Tuesday he will be presenting at Stand Tu Maia at 49 Cochrane Street at 11am and Te Wharau School at 5.30pm.

These are all free events.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enrol in the Breakthrough parenting programme.

This is a programme for fathers and their children with the aim of making sure that all children in Aotearoa grow up knowing they are loved, safe and supported by their families to dream and explore their potential.

Parenting Place and the Salvation Army developed this programme. Parenting Place received some funding from The Sunrise Foundation for Pio to bring his presentations to the community.
