Socks for sale!

A funky sock collaboration, initiated Tairāwhiti Multicultural Council will benefit Sunrise's General fund.

A new sock collaboration with Tairāwhiti Multicultural Council (TMC) to benefit Sunrise's General fund was launched this year.

At just $5 a pair, they're a bargain!

The initiative was the brainchild of Arish Naresh, TMC President. Arish says, "Tairāwhiti Multicultural Council is grateful for the grants we have received over the years from Sunrise's General fund. This sock collaboration is a fun way we can support Sunrise and give back."

Each pair of socks features the letters 'OWD' on the top, which stands for Opportunities Without Discrimination - something TMC promote. The high quality, colourful socks are made using offcuts that would have otherwise gone to waste and have been donated by local business Columbine for us to sell.

Made with eye-catching colours, the socks are great conversation starters. They're a fun way to not only support Sunrise, but to get people out in the community talking about Sunrise - what we do and they impact we are having.

If you would like to purchase a pair call into our office at 1 Peel, Street (in BDO offices). Socks come in a variety of colours and sizes, including children's.
